Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It's known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin.

Itinerary Breakdown

Day 1

Bangkok – Cultural Highlights

    Morning:
        •    Grand Palace & Wat Phra Kaew: Start your day exploring the Grand Palace, the former royal residence, and Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha).
        •    Wat Pho: Walk over to Wat Pho, home to the famous reclining Buddha and a traditional Thai massage school.

    Afternoon:
        •    Lunch at a riverside restaurant: Enjoy local Thai cuisine with a view of the Chao Phraya River.
        •    Wat Arun: Take a short ferry ride to visit Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), known for its stunning riverside location.

    Evening:
        •    Dinner at a rooftop restaurant: Enjoy dinner with a view of the city skyline.
        •    Asiatique The Riverfront: Explore this open-air mall with boutiques, restaurants, and a night market.
     

Transfer to Hotel: Private Basis
Sightseeing

    Morning:
        •    Travel to Ayutthaya: Take a train or private car to the ancient city of Ayutthaya (about 1.5 hours from Bangkok).
        •    Explore Ayutthaya Historical Park: Visit key sites like Wat Mahathat (famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots) and Wat Ratchaburana.

    Afternoon:
        •    Lunch at a local restaurant.
        •    Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit: Continue exploring the ruins and temples.

    Evening:
        •    Return to Bangkok.
        •    Dinner at a local restaurant or relax at your hotel.
     

Sightseeing

    Morning:
        •    Damnoen Saduak Floating Market: Visit this famous floating market (about 1.5 hours from Bangkok) to experience traditional Thai market life.

    Afternoon:
        •    Return to Bangkok for lunch.
        •    Chatuchak Weekend Market (if it’s a weekend): Shop for souvenirs, clothes, and unique items at one of the world’s largest markets.
        •    Siam Paragon/MBK Center: Spend time at these popular shopping malls if you prefer modern shopping.

    Evening:
        •    Dinner at a street food market: Explore local flavors at places like Chinatown (Yaowarat Road).
     

Sightseeing

    Morning:
        •    Jim Thompson House: Visit the former home of Jim Thompson, an American businessman who helped revive the Thai silk industry.
        •    Lumphini Park: Relax and enjoy a peaceful stroll in this green oasis in the city.

    Afternoon:
        •    Lunch at a Thai fusion restaurant.
        •    Spa treatment: Treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage or spa treatment before your departure.

    Evening:
        •    Transfer to the airport: Depending on your flight time, leave for Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang Airport.

  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.

  • Airfare if not mentioned in the itinerary

  • Travel Insurance if not mentioned in the itinerary

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.

  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.

  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.

  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.

 

  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.

  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.

  • The avance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first)...
