Guwahati is a sprawling city beside the Brahmaputra River in the northeast Indian state of Assam. It’s known for holy sites like the hilltop Kamakhya Temple, featuring shrines to the Hindu deities Shiva and Vishnu. To the east, 18th-century Navagraha Temple is an astronomical center with planetary shrines. Umananda Temple, dedicated to Shiva and covered with engravings, stands on Peacock Island in the river.
Day 1
Arrival and Exploring Guwahati
Morning:
&bull Kamakhya Temple: Start your day with a visit to this iconic and spiritual temple dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya.
&bull Umananda Temple: Take a ferry ride to the smallest river island in the world, Peacock Island, and visit this temple.
Afternoon:
&bull Lunch: Try authentic Assamese cuisine at a popular local restaurant like Khorikaa or Paradise.
&bull Guwahati Zoo and Botanical Garden: Explore the rich flora and fauna here.
Evening:
&bull Brahmaputra River Cruise: Enjoy a sunset cruise or dinner cruise on the Brahmaputra River. The views are stunning, and the vibe is relaxing.
Day 2
Day Trip to Cherrapunji (Sohra)
Morning:
• Drive to Cherrapunji (2-hour journey from Shillong) to explore the wettest place on Earth.
• Nohkalikai Falls: Witness this magnificent waterfall, one of the tallest in India.
• Mawsmai Caves: Explore these stunning limestone caves.
Afternoon:
• Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, and Arwah Caves.
Evening:
• Return to Guwahati or Shillong for the night.
Day 3
Cultural and Shopping in Guwahati
Morning:
• Assam State Museum: Learn about the culture and heritage of Assam.
• Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra: Explore Assam’s cultural and artistic diversity.
Afternoon:
• Shopping: Visit Fancy Bazaar and Paltan Bazaar for traditional Assamese items like silk sarees, tea, and handicrafts.
• Lunch: Relish Assamese thalis at a local restaurant.
Evening:
• Navagraha Temple or a stroll along the Brahmaputra riverfront before departing.

In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS..
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
